Jerry Asmussen is Secretary of the Board of Commissioners of Public Utility District No. 1 of Okanogan County. He was elected to his second 6-year term as PUD Commissioner, District #3, effective January 1, 2023. Asmussen is a member representative of the Washington PUD Association (WPUDA) and the WPUDA Round Table. He is a representative of the Northwest Public Power Association.
