Tonasket Area Outage April 9

There will be a 6-hour power outage in the described areas early morning of April 9, 2021. It will begin at 11:55 p.m. April 8, 2021 and last until approximately 6 a.m. April 9, 2021.

The outage will affect all Okanogan County PUD customers in the following area(s):

Tonasket north along the highway 97 corridor to 1.5 miles south of Ellisforde.
Tonasket south along the highway 97 corridor to 1 mile south of Janis Bridge.
Including, but not limited to, the towns and areas of: Tonasket, North Pine Creek, Aeneas Valley, Tunk Valley and Chewiliken Valley along with Crawfish Lake.
The Omak, Tunk and Lemanasky Mountain repeaters will also be off.
For all residents using medical equipment requiring electrical power, you will need to make provisions for a 6-hour power outage.

This outage is for system maintenance on the Tonasket Substation in preparation for irrigation season. The PUD appreciates your patience and apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may cause.
