There will be a 7-hour power outage beginning at 11 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021, and lasting to approximately 6 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021. The outage allows crews to upgrade lines and equipment for the new Twisp City Hall building. The outage will affect approximately 150 customers, including businesses, in the Town of Twisp between Highway 20 and Lincoln Street, and from 4th Avenue North to the city pool. There will be an 8-hour power outage Wednesday, April 14, 2021. It will begin at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning and last until approximately 4:00 p.m. This outage is needed for tree removal and line maintenance. For all residents using medical equipment requiring electrical power, you will need to make provisions for this power outage. There will be a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Public Utility District No. 1 of Okanogan County and PUD Staff on Monday, March 29, 2021, commencing at 3:30 p.m., located in the District Auditorium at 1331 Second Ave North, Okanogan, Washington.
