PUD board discusses financial policy

  The Okanogan County PUD board discussed establishing a financial policy, including a proposal by staff on managing the rate stabilization fund. General Manager Steve Taylor said he worked with Treasurer Janet Crossland and Director of Finance and Accounting Don Coppock to form the proposals, which involved four areas: key performance indicators, financial targets, the rate stabilization fund and a vehicle replacement fund. Board hears options for dewatering Enloe

The Okanogan County PUD board authorized district staff to work towards developing a not to exceed price for the Enloe Dam right bank dewatering and safety inspection alternative. Daniel Kuney, vice president of Max J. Kuney Company, shared four options for dewatering and inspecting Enloe Dam at a July 22 meeting of the board of commissioners.
