Due to the popularity of our energy conservation program and increased applications across all sectors funding is limited and subject to availability. Incentives may be capped. Please do not rely on incentives to complete projects. Incentives are on a first-come, first-served basis until funding is exhausted.
Due to the limited availability of energy efficiency incentive funding agricultural incentives may be limited to a maximum of $20,000 per customer during any given rate period. An incentive exceeding $20,000 may be reduced or capped.
The irrigation pump must be electrically powered.
The pump must be 20hp or greater and must not have been tested through BPA-sponsored pump testing services within the past five years.
Pump must have been in operation for two of three previous years.
Pump test must be performed by an individual possessing pump testing knowledge and experience.
Irrigation Pump Testing and System Analysis BPA Screening Tool must be used.
Simple system evaluation - $100
Simple system irrigation pump test (e.g., open discharge) - $200
Irrigation pump test and system analysis, 400 acres or less - $400
Irrigation pump test and system analysis, over 400 acres - $600
Irrigation pump test and system analysis, complex pumping system over 400 acres - $400 per main pump, 100 per booster pump
Receive a $165 rebate when you buy a qualifying freeze-resistant stock water tank or fountain. The stock tank or fountain must be new, enclosed fully in foam or dead air space, have a completely sealed opening, possess elliptical or flap closures that tip easily so animals can drink without resistance, contain no electric heat, and possess a minimum one-year manufacturer defect warranty. You will need:
- Invoice with date, cost, manufacturer, size, and model number
- Warranty information
- Photo of installed product
Requires the installation of a newly manufactured turbine- or centrifugal-style irrigation pump to replace an existing pump. This measure applies to pumping operations that deliver, distribute, or transport irrigation water.
The pump must range from 20hp to 500hp.
The new replacement pump must have the same or lower hp rating unless it is coupled with a VFD.
Agricultural New Pump Efficiency Upgrade - $95 per nameplate hp
This measure applies to new or existing pumping operations that deliver, distribute or transport irrigation water with qualifying VFDs from 7.5hp-1,000hp.
All new VFD installations must meet IEEE 519 harmonics standard.
Turbine Pump VFD - $135 per nameplate horsepower
Centrifugal Pump VFD - $95 per nameplate horsepower
Upgrades to new or existing systems and water management must be designed, constructed, and verified in compliance with specifications.
Incentive is limited to two units per sprinklered acre for solid set sprinklers.
If claiming a sprinkler package replacement, all the regulators, nozzles, and sprinklers must have the same quantity of nozzles and sprinklers claimed.
Lateral moves are also included.
High-pressure sprinkler package - $18 per package
MESA sprinkler package - $21 per package
LESA/LEPA/MDI sprinkler package - $10 per package
A system, or portion of a system, converted to LESA/LEPA/MDI - $23 per drop
A system, or portion of a system, converted from high pressure MESA - $26 per drop
A wheel-line or hand-line irrigation system, or portion of a system, converted from high pressure to low pressure operation - $23 per head
Replace leaking impact sprinkler with new or rebuilt impact - $1 per sprinkler
Replace nozzle - $3 per nozzle
Replace pipe section gasket - $4 per gasket
Replace leaking drain gaskets with new gaskets - $3 per drain
Replace Thunderbird wheel-line hubs - $4 per hub
Rebuild or replace leaking or malfunctioning leveler with new or rebuilt leveler - $1 per leveler
Customer must call the Okanogan Conservation District for pre-approval before beginning project.
