Selected Story

Aside from our more popular energy efficiency incentive programs for homes and businesses, we also have agricultural and industrial incentive opportunities for PUD customers looking to make some energy-efficient upgrades.

We focus on projects that increase energy efficiency, so commercial upgrades have to have some element that will save energy in order to qualify for incentives. Funding comes through Bonneville Power Administration, from which we buy much of our power.

Very important note: Please contact us BEFORE you begin your project.

For agricultural incentives, we partner with the Okanogan Conservation District. Our staff works with theirs to help with projects such as irrigation system upgrades, freeze-resistant stock tanks and VFD (variable frequency drive) pumps. Get more information on the Conservation District website, www.okanogancd.org.

For industrial projects, we can meet with owners to discuss custom options, from refrigeration upgrades to industrial forklift doors. Some incentives are on hold due to funding restrictions, but some projects may qualify.

Get more details about incentive programs for your projects on their respective webpages - Ag: www.okanoganpud.org/energy-services/ag-irrigation-programs; Industrial: www.okanoganpud.org/energy-services/industrial-programs.
